Today, I had some free time to clean the original Ghost cooler of the Ryzen 3 2200G that I replaced in the last episode. I don't dare to do this with my own.

Preparation needed:
Towel, alcohol, hairdryer, a high-pressure showerhead (a strong faucet can also work), a pair of diligent hands, PH1 and PH0 screwdrivers (at least one PH1)
Disassembly#
For the motherboard disassembly, I directly quoted the content from the last issue.
Open the side panels of the case, use a screwdriver to unscrew the screws along the diagonal, and remove the cooler from the processor; open the cover plate at the back of the motherboard, and let the tool person hold it while I unscrew the diagonal screws.
Then, remove the cooler and unscrew the two screws under the raised AMD logo.
After removing the cover with the AMD logo, you will see the Cooler Master logo and four screws underneath the fan. Unscrew them to take off the aluminum cooler; take it to a showerhead with a rinsing function to clean it, then use a paper towel or towel to wipe the surface clean and remove the thermal paste, then place the towel underneath and use a hairdryer to dry it for a while until there are no water droplets, then let it air dry.
I plan to use a towel, paper towels, and alcohol to wipe the fan and case, holding the fan blades with my fingers and wiping them one by one... Then, I will wipe the dust off the exterior of the fan.
Installation#
The installation is similar,
Attach the four screws to the heat sink, then place the shell with the logo underneath and press down with both hands until it fits (just make sure the two clips on the screws are secured), then add the two small long screws.
Once the screws are in place on the front, pull the clips outward to secure them, then press the other side into place.
On the motherboard, find something to press down on the clips at the back, or have a tool person hold it; apply thermal paste to the CPU and press the four spring screws firmly into the clips while keeping the other side from lifting too much. Turn a few times to screw down the diagonal screws to flatten the cooler, then tighten the other two screws and secure the remaining two, and plug in the CPU fan power; wipe down the machine.
