Story#
I always felt that my Xiaomi 10 phone's battery was not durable, needing to be charged 3-4 times a day. Although the original 27W charger is fast, it runs out quickly. After going out one day, I decided to replace the battery of my Xiaomi 10 phone. I searched for some stores on Taobao and found one that specializes in selling Xiaomi batteries. After asking a few questions, I made a purchase. After waiting for two days, the delivery arrived. I opened the package and checked it; there was nothing unusual. It looked like it came from Xiaomi's after-sales service, and I couldn't see any differences.
In August, the failure has become a joke Young people's first Taobao failure, the following content is about pitfalls.
Replacement#
In the package, besides the battery, there was B7000 glue, battery adhesive, several disassembly tools, and the battery's anti-static bag looked like it had been opened and resealed. Is this how it came?
After turning off the phone, I removed the SIM card tray (
The battery itself had no obvious differences from the original battery I removed, such as different fonts and inconsistent font sizes.
After heating the back cover, I gently pried open the larger gaps in the back cover. Here, it was at the camera and infrared position. I slowly cut open the inner sealing glue along the gap, then used a prying tool to push against the gap and pry open the other side. I saw white glue coming out from the prying tool, which made me quite anxious because I bought a second-hand phone, and I had never seen white sealing glue when I disassembled Xiaomi phones before.
Here I messed up; I was too anxious, and the prying tool broke at the camera side.
After opening it, I could see the NFC and wireless charging coil's heat dissipation??, and I could see the screws by tearing along the mainboard with the left and right speakers'??.
Holding the shielding cover with one hand, I pried up the battery connector to cut off the power; here, I accidentally pulled out the speaker's btb.
I removed the battery according to the instructions; first, I tore off A and B, then pulled up A. The battery came out easily. After removing it, I peeled off the pull-tab? and the battery sticker from the battery frame.
I aligned the new battery in place and connected the battery connector's btb, simply secured the mainboard shielding cover and NFC wireless charging coil, and powered on for testing. (I didn't apply the included battery adhesive here.)
After powering on, it showed 50% battery, and I tested the speaker, wireless charging NFC, vibration, and wired 27W fast charging; I used the shortcut to find battery endurance, and the remaining battery capacity was normal.
The battery endurance is built into MIUI13, somewhat like AccuBattery)))
This has been used for half a month, and it doesn't seem too accurate...
In fact, it has gone from charging three times a day to two times a day, and it feels more reassuring to use, for reference only.
Then I turned off the phone to check if anything was not secured before installing the shielding cover. Don't apply too much force to create miracles~ Don't ask me how I know this.
After slightly adjusting the NFC coil, I installed the back cover. Since the back cover broke, I didn't apply glue for easier replacement later. Even without glue, the gap is not too big and is similar to before disassembly.
Unfortunately, the cover broke this time; I'm so sad.
